Mo Valley Ice Association / Southwestern Ice Association 2026 Joint Convention

We’re excited to announce that Cool Running Software will be attending the Missouri Valley Ice Association & Southwestern Ice Association Joint Convention from February 19th to 21st, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas. The event will be held at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel on 900 N. Shoreline Blvd. and brings together ice companies and suppliers from across the Midwest and Southwest for three days of networking, industry discussion, and collaboration.

Our founder, Tony Dickson, will be attending this year’s convention and will be available at the supplier showcase to walk attendees through live demos of our newest product, the Cool Portal, a 24/7 online ordering system built specifically for ice companies and their recurring customers. Cool Portal launched on January 29th, 2026, and this will be one of the first opportunities to see it in action in person.
If you’re attending the convention and want to see how Cool Running Software can help your ice business become more efficient and more profitable, come find us at the supplier showcase.

What Is The Missouri Valley Ice Association?

The Missouri Valley Ice Association serves as a key regional organization for ice manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers throughout the Midwest. Its members include 29 ice companies spanning 14 states along with 20 industry suppliers.
The Mo Valley Ice Association was built to bring its members together and promote growth across the region. Through its events and resources, the association provides valuable industry insights that help members navigate challenges, stay informed about regulatory changes, and explore opportunities to strengthen their operations. Whether you are a large-scale manufacturer or a regional distributor, Mo Valley offers a platform for collaboration and shared learning.

What Is The Southwestern Ice Association?

The Southwestern Ice Association (SWIA) was founded in 1891 and represents ice manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers across the Southwest region of the country. Its members include over 24 ice companies from 7 states and 20 ice industry suppliers.
Through its annual conventions, the SWIA delivers industry insights and practical tools for addressing key challenges within the ice industry. Their goal is simple: provide ice companies of all sizes a place to network, learn, and promote the interests of the ice industry as a whole.

Cool Running Software's Participation

Cool Running Software is looking forward to participating in the 2026 Joint Convention. At the supplier showcase, we will be offering:
  • Live demonstrations of the Cool Portal: our newest product that launched January 29th, 2026. Cool Portal is a 24/7 online ordering system that gives your recurring customers a branded portal where they can place restock orders, submit custom orders, track the status of their deliveries, and send support requests, all without calling your office. Orders submitted through the portal flow directly into Cool Running Software and RouteBuilder, ready for dispatch. No manual entry. No double work. If you have been looking for a way to cut down phone calls, reduce voicemail pileups, and give your customers a better ordering experience, this is the demo to see.
  • Walkthroughs of our full platform: including merchandiser tracking, route management, route optimization, GPS tracking, CoolConnect (direct API sync to QuickBooks Online), and more.
  • Open conversations about your business: whether you are a current CRS customer looking to get more out of the platform or an ice company exploring new software for the first time, Tony is there to listen, answer questions, and talk shop.
