Description |
Driver Report
|
This is one of the two reports that your driver has the option of
printing after their shift. As you can see, is shows the load
information. Also, it lists all the ice chests ID numbers that they
delivered to. If there were any notes from the driver, they would print
next to the ice chest number.
Finally, this report shows how much cash,
checks and term receipts should be turned in. At Olmsted Ice, all
drivers must be able to match their daily pouches with this report!
|
Driver Volume Report
|
The Driver Volume Report can show you exactly how much of
each product your driver has delivered between two specific dates.
Furthermore, you have the ability to select one or more drivers in your
report or choose all your drivers.
|
Merchandiser Locations
|
The Merchandiser Location report will show all the
locations of your ice merchandisers. You are also able to filter this
report by:
- Inside Chests Only
- Outside Chests Only
- Merchandisers at Home Office
- All Merchandiser Locations
This report has become very valuable to Olmsted Ice during the slower
months were we visit all of our ice chests and perform the annual
preventive maintenance on them.
|
Merchandisers Overdue
|
The Merchandiser Overdue Report will show you which ice
chests are past their pick up date.
This is very helpful when it comes
time to bill customers for annual lease fees.
|
Merchandiser Pickup Schedule
|
The Merchandiser Pick Up Schedule report will give you a
list of all ice chests in your customer list that have a specified pick
up date. Olmsted Ice likes to use this report for three reasons.
- Monitor slow moving customers on a annual basis to determine if we
are getting enough ROI on the equipment on their location
- To charge lease fees for locations such as construction sites and
factories
- To view which ice chests are due for pick up in the near future
|
Merchandiser Service
|
The Merchandiser Service report is another valuable report to run just
before a weekend. The way this report works is you will enter a
percentage. With that percentage, Cool Running Manager will list all
ice merchandisers with less than that percentage of ice. For instance,
if I asked the report to show me all ice chests less than 50% full, it
would list all ice chests loaded up that much or less.
As all icemen
know, some customers always try to not fill their ice chest. They would
rather the iceman make more deliveries so they can keep the money in
their pocket a little longer.
With this report, you can predict which
customers are going to call and thus have a quick answer for them when
they complain they ran out of ice!
|
Price History
|
Have you ever had a customer call you and ask "When did you raise my
price?" Or, have you wondered how long they have been paying a certain
price?
The Price History Report will show you how long a
customer has paid a certain price for each product they purchase. This
report has become very valuable to Olmsted Ice when we are evaluating
our customer base and trying to determine if it is time to raise the
price on certain customers.
|
Re-Routing
|
The Re-Routing Report shows all the locations that were
scheduled for a delivery but did not get done. At Olmsted Ice, all
locations we visit must receive an entry in Cool Running Driver.
This report compares all those locations what were scheduled on a route
with the stops that received a entry in Cool Running Driver. If
they did not get a entry, they will show up on this
report as a stop that was not done.
This report becomes very valuable
on a Thursday when you are scheduling stops for a Friday. You can check
one more time to see before you hit a busy weekend to make sure all your
routed stops were completed by your drivers.
|
Reconciliation
|
The Reconciliation report is another report that the driver has
the option to print when they sync their handheld at the end of the
day. The report will list in detail all the Cash Locations, Check
Locations and Term Locations the driver delivered to.
With this report,
the driver can see all the receipt entries for that day. This becomes
very valuable when a driver us unable to match up their monies with what
the Cool Running Driver Report is showing. They are able to view all
the work they did that day and find the problem.
|
Sales By Driver Graph
|
The Sales by Driver Graph is self-explanatory. You can
pick all drivers or a certain number of drivers, specify a date period and hit
submit. The result is a graphical representation of what those drivers
did in that period.
In the example, I am comparing three drivers for
the entire 2007 season. You can also compare each driver to their
previous years sales as well!
|
Sales By Location
|
The Sales by Location report will show you the gross sales
for each product for all customers either for specific date or the total
sales between two specified dates.
This report is very helpful when
doing a end-of-year analysis of your customers volume and gross sales.
|
Sales By Location Graph
|
Every year the during the months of January and February, Olmsted Ice
likes to visit all routed locations and evaluate their sales. However,
we don't like to walk in empty handed. For that reason, we came up with
the Sales By Location Graph.
This is a volume graph that
evaluates the customer equivalents. What are equivalents? Simply, they
are what the customer would have sold if they only sold 7 Pound Bags.
We take the total pounds of ice, divide that number by the 7 (for the 7
pound bag) and come up the equivalents totals. From those numbers, we
are able to make a volume graph that shows how much ice was sold in each
respective month. In this example, this customer sells both 7 and 22
Pound Bags.
You would not beleive how much a small "Mom and Pop" store
appreciates the effort of a sales graph! A little thing such as a great
relationship marketing tool!
|
Sales By Product
|
The Sales by Product Report shows how much of each product
in your product list you have sold between two specified dates.
|
Sales By Product Graph
|
The Sales by Product Graph can take a product and show
exactly how much of that product was sold each month. Furthermore, you
can put the previous years sales on that graph and make a visual
comparison between the years.
The report allows you to choose as many
or as few products as you want to show up in the graph.
|
Product Sales By Location Graph
|
Remember the volume (equivalents) chart where we compared the Sales of
Abbe Road Drive Thru? The Product Sales By Location Graph will show
the exact number of each product sold at that location.
You can also
configure the report to only specify certain products in your graph.
|
Sales By Tax Area
|
The Sales Tax by Area shows will show your company two
things. First, you will be able to view the gross sales by area. In
this case, my areas are split up by counties.
Next, your company can
see exactly how much sales tax was collected in each respective area.
This comes in very helpful if your state sales tax laws require you to
list all the monies collected in each county and/or state.
|
Sales Details By Location
|
The Sales Details by Location report will show you exactly what was
purchased by a customer between two specified dates.
